Jackbit app in Canada: installing Jack.com on your phone

Jackbit has been called Jack.com since 29 May 2026, and it runs under a Curaçao licence, not a Canadian provincial one. If you're looking for its app, the short answer is that there isn't one in the Canadian App Store. Jack.com is an installable web app instead: your browser adds it to your home screen, and from there it opens full screen like any other app. Here is how to install it, and how to avoid the fakes.

What we checked on 4 November 2026

We searched Apple's Canadian store through its public search API, then looked at what jack.com itself tells your browser.

Check What we found
App Store Canada, search "jackbit" Two results, both unrelated: J-Bit: Inversion and Flappy Jack Game. Nothing from the operator. (iTunes Search API, country CA.)
App Store Canada, search "jack.com" 14 results, none published by the operator.
"PlayJack Slots" Made by JACK Entertainment LLC, a separate US company. It has nothing to do with Jack.com or Jackbit.
jack.com web app manifest Name "Jack", display mode "standalone", theme colour #1c212f. This is the file that tells a browser how to install a site as an app.
Install prompt The page registers a browser install prompt, so supporting browsers can offer to install it. That makes Jack.com a progressive web app (PWA).
Independent description CryptoSlate's review describes an "app-style" install flow for iOS, Android, Windows and macOS.
Old jackbit.com address jackbit.com and www.jackbit.com answer with an HTTP 301 redirect to https://jack.com/.

Our store check covered Apple's Canadian App Store. We did not search Google Play, so we make no claim about it beyond this: the install route Jack.com itself sets up is the browser one, on Android as on every other system, and an APK file from a download site is not the same thing.

What a web app actually is

A progressive web app, or PWA, is a website that your browser can install like an app. Nothing comes from a store. Your device saves an icon and a little site data, and when you tap the icon, Jack.com opens in its own window without the browser's address bar or tabs. That is what the "standalone" setting in its manifest asks for.

Because your games, balance and cashier all live on Jack.com's servers, the web app and the website are the same account, the same wallet and the same lobby. There is no App Store review step either: when the operator updates the site, the web app picks up the change the next time you open it. It uses little storage, since games load from the site instead of sitting on your phone, and it needs an internet connection to do anything useful.

What we have not verified

  • Whether the web app sends push notifications. Don't rely on it for alerts.
  • Face ID, Touch ID or fingerprint sign-in. Plan on your password or Google sign-in.
  • Jack.com's own screens after install. The steps below describe your browser's menus, not the casino's.

Icon

On your home screen

A Jack icon sits next to your other apps and opens the site in one tap.

Window

Full screen

Standalone mode hides the address bar and tabs, so the lobby gets the whole screen.

Account

Same as the website

Same login, balance, rakeback and cashier. There is nothing to move or link.

Updates

Automatic

No store updates to install. You always get the current version of the site.

How to install Jack.com, step by step

Each browser words it a little differently, but it only takes a few taps. When you first open jack.com you may see a Cloudflare "verify you are human" check. Let it finish and wait for the lobby to load before you install.

iPhone and iPad (Safari)

  1. 1

Open Safari and type jack.com into the address bar yourself.

  2. 2

Tap the Share button, the square with an arrow pointing up.

  3. 3

Scroll the share sheet and tap "Add to Home Screen".

  4. 4

Keep the suggested name or change it, then tap "Add". The icon appears on your home screen.

Android (Chrome)

  1. 1

Open Chrome and type jack.com into the address bar yourself.

  2. 2

If Chrome offers to install the site on its own, accept. The page registers an install prompt, so this can appear.

  3. 3

Otherwise, tap the three-dot menu and choose "Install app" or "Add to Home screen". The label depends on your Chrome version.

  4. 4

Confirm with "Install". The Jack icon appears on your home screen.

Windows and macOS (Chrome or Edge)

  1. 1

Open jack.com in Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge.

  2. 2

Look for an install icon at the right-hand end of the address bar and click it.

  3. 3

No icon? Open the browser's main menu and look for an "Install" option. Chrome and Edge keep it in slightly different submenus.

  4. 4

Confirm. Jack opens in its own window, which you can pin to the Windows taskbar or keep in the Mac Dock.

Removing it later

Press and hold the icon and remove it, as you would any app. On a computer, use the menu inside the app window. Removing the icon deletes the shortcut only: your account and balance stay where they are. To close an account or self-exclude, contact Jack.com support.

Install it safely

With no official store listing, anyone can publish something and call it a "Jackbit app". The only install route we can call genuine is the one that starts at jack.com, typed into your own browser.

Do

  • Type jack.com yourself. An old jackbit.com bookmark still gets you there, because jackbit.com forwards to https://jack.com/ with a permanent 301 redirect.
  • Check for the padlock and make sure the address reads exactly jack.com before you sign in, install or deposit.
  • Expect the Cloudflare "verify you are human" page. It sits in front of the real site and should ask for nothing more than a tick or a short wait.
  • Use a password you don't use anywhere else, or the Google sign-in option offered at registration.

Don't

  • Download a "Jackbit APK" or "Jack.com APK" from a download site, forum or chat group. You can't know what it contains, and the install route Jack.com sets up is the browser one, not a file.
  • Install whatever shows up for "Jackbit" in the App Store. Our search of Apple's Canadian store found only unrelated apps.
  • Enter your Jack.com password on any other site, including this one. We have no login form and will never ask for your details.
  • Trust a "verification" page that wants your password, a code, a wallet seed phrase or a file download. Close it and type jack.com again.

Using the cashier and limits on your phone

The web app uses the same crypto-first cashier as the website. You can show amounts in Canadian dollars, but you pay in crypto or buy crypto inside the cashier. There is no Interac e-Transfer. A small screen makes a few things easier to get wrong, so take these slowly:

  • Crypto deposits: copy the deposit address with the copy button rather than retyping it, and pick the same network in your wallet as the one the cashier shows. Several of the 17 coins run on more than one network, and coins sent on the wrong one can be lost.
  • Card, Apple Pay and Google Pay: these work through a crypto purchase inside the cashier. You are buying crypto, which then funds your balance. On a phone, Apple Pay or Google Pay saves typing card numbers.
  • Withdrawals: each coin has its own minimum (for example 10 USDT on TRC20). Your deposit must be wagered once before you cash out, and a processing fee may apply if you wagered less than three times your last deposit.
  • Verification: there is no full check at sign-up, but ID, proof of address no older than six months, a video check or proof of funds can be requested, typically before a first large withdrawal. Keep clear photos of your documents ready.

Games that suit a small screen

Jack.com's in-house Originals are provably fair: each result can be checked against a server seed and client seed hash. They are built around short rounds and simple choices, which in our view suits a phone better than a busy bonus-feature slot. CryptoSlate counts 22 Originals; the tiles below are Jackbit's own lobby art.

The full lobby is in the web app too, since it is the same site. CryptoSlate counted 8,664 slots and 517 live casino entries in Jack.com's logged-out lobby on 30 Sep 2026; counts vary by date and source. The slots guide covers the studios and titles.

The sportsbook shares the same wallet, with pre-match, live and esports sections among others. Jackbit's sports promotions in 2022 and 2023 included Bet Builder, Cash Out and a Save/Delete/Replace feature, whose banner is shown here. The betting guide explains what is on offer now.

An icon on your phone doesn't change the rules

Installing Jack.com changes how you reach it, not who regulates it. Gambling in Canada is run province by province, and Jack.com holds a Curaçao licence, not a licence from any Canadian province. The licensed alternatives depend on where you live:

  • Ontario: private online casinos must be registered by the AGCO and contracted with iGaming Ontario. Jack.com is not in iGO's operator directory (checked 4 Nov 2026); the operators listed there are the licensed choice.
  • Alberta: since 13 July 2026 the AGLC registers private operators. Our search of its registrants for "Jack" on 4 Nov 2026 found only the JackpotCity and Spin Casino operator, not Jack.com.
  • Québec, BC, Manitoba, Saskatchewan and Atlantic Canada: the provincial lottery corporation runs the licensed online offer: Loto-Québec, PlayNow (BCLC), PlayNow SK and Atlantic Lottery (ALC).
  • Sports betting: single-event bets have been legal since 27 August 2021, but only through provincially run or licensed books. Jack.com's sportsbook is not one of them.

Canada is not on Jack.com's restricted-country list (CryptoSlate, October 2026), so the web app will usually load. Gambling.com notes that the brand's bonus content is not meant for residents of Ontario or Alberta. Without a provincial licence there is no provincial complaints body: disputes go to the operator first, then to the Curaçao regulator. Jack.com asks for 18+, but your province's age still applies: 18 in Alberta, Manitoba and Québec, 19 everywhere else.

Frequently asked questions

Is there a Jackbit app for iPhone in Canada?

No. On 4 November 2026 a search of Apple's Canadian store for "jackbit" returned two unrelated apps, and "jack.com" returned 14 results, none from the operator. Install Jack.com from Safari instead: tap Share, then "Add to Home Screen".

Is there a Jackbit APK for Android?

The install route Jack.com sets up is the browser one: open jack.com in Chrome and choose "Install app" or "Add to Home screen". Don't install APK files from download sites or chat groups. They don't come from that install flow, and you can't know what they contain.

Is the web app different from the website?

No. It is the same site in its own full-screen window: same account, balance, games, sportsbook and cashier. When the site changes, the web app changes with it, with no store update to install.

Will my old Jackbit login work in the web app?

The May 2026 press release said existing Jackbit users would see no disruption to their accounts. Sign in with the same details. If anything looks wrong, contact live chat or support@jack.com.

Does the welcome offer work in the web app?

The 20% Rakeback Boost is tied to your account, not your device: it runs automatically for 72 hours after registration, with no code. The web app is the same account, so it applies there too. Gambling.com notes that bonus content is not meant for residents of Ontario or Alberta.

How do I remove the Jack.com web app?

Press and hold the icon and remove it, like any app; on a computer, use the menu inside the app window. That removes the shortcut only. Your account and balance remain, so to close the account or self-exclude, contact support.

Play responsibly.
